5 Minute Easy Spring Decorating Ideas
Earlier this week, my Mom and I made a quick trip into Pennsylvania to my favorite Amish greenhouse, Shadygrove.
Your girl was on a mission for daffodils!!!
It just so happened that a few other super sweet Spring flowers hopped into the cart while we were there. 🙂
Now, before I photo dump the easy Spring decorating ideas on you…here is the spoiler alert, the moral of this decorating story and the key to this easy Spring decorating recipe.
Are you ready?
This is what you need to do!
Grab your favorite Spring flowers.
Grab your favorite planters.
Start playing in the potting soil and enjoy watching your indoor and outdoor spaces come to life with color and fresh energy!
Spring Kitchen Counter Decorating Idea
For this kitchen counter centerpiece, I used the 8″ size version of this white ceramic planter from Walmart, but the 12″ size would be perfect too and would allow you to pot two daffodils.
Next, I added a little bit of potting soil around the bulbs, tucked in a cute moss flocked bunny figure and topped the planter off with this super moss and a few plastic speckled eggs.
(I have linked similar moss flocked bunnies, speckled eggs and more sources at the bottom of this post.)
This kitchen counter decor is so easy and makes such a big difference!
I just love the view of our kitchen island now!
Easy Spring Mantel Decorating Idea
I repeated the same Spring planter and daffodil decorating idea on our mantel and instead of using another moss flocked bunny, I used two birds I have had for years and added them into this planter.
This is such an easy way to add greenery to your mantel and I love the simplicity of the look!
Spring Table Centerpiece Decorating Idea
I picked up this basket from IKEA and love how well it works with a trio of flower pots.
The pots were a little low when I placed them inside the basket, so I placed three small bowls upside down, on the bottom of the basket to add the height I needed for the tulip pots.
Next, I added moss a pair of yarn carrots and gold bunny from the Target Dollar Spot!
Simple Spring Porch Planter Idea
I am loving how cute these outdoor Spring planters turned out!
Now, you know how much I love to decorate our front porch…
I just have to tell you that I could not wait a minute more to add some life back to our very bare bones front porch!
This is the “first layer,” if you will, to the Spring porch that will eventually be in full effect.
Willa and I loved spending some outside yesterday, while I played in the dirt and added some friendly pots to the porch!
I started decorating our Spring planters by adding the taller grass to the back of the planter pot.
Next, I added a taller white flower and worked my way around the edge of the planter.
Then, I kept adding pink and purple flowers to the planter and finished the front off with a small nest I had on hand.
Finished by adding a few more plastic speckled eggs.
Are you starting to notice a theme here? 🙂
The beginning of the Spring porch foundation has been set!
I picked up this blue and white striped outdoor rug from Target, earlier this week!
Can’t wait to add more layers, like this smaller outdoor door mat and more flowers once Spring really starts to bloom around here!
For now, I am just enjoying how our outdoor Spring planters now slightly “match” the cute Spring wreath that Maci and I made together last year and shared HERE in this post on how to make your own!
I hope you enjoyed this post friend and are feeling inspired to start decorating your home for Spring!
