Hey friend –
At risk of stating the obvious?
It’s Saturday morning.
And why do I share this breaking news with you?
Two reasons.
One is that today is Saturday, February 5th which means Valentine’s Day is NINE days away.
And two?
I wanted to update you on a tweak I am making to my blog posts schedule. I realize that you have become accustomed to seeing my blogger words jump into your email box on Friday afternoons. And while I love celebrating FriYAY with you and your inbox?
I am moving the Friday posts to Saturday mornings.
So many of you have often shared that you enjoy reading my blog over a cup of coffee and what better day and time to enjoy that cup of coffee than on Saturday morning?
A little update I wanted to share because I did not want you to think I am abandoning my Friday post. Simply, just pushing the regular Friday posts to meet and greet you on Saturday morning, coffee in hand.
And?
I will also continue to pop into your inbox on Tuesday’s as well for a mid week heart and home decor hug.
So there you have it. What to expect from my corner of the world are blog posts coming to you twice per week, on Tuesdays and Saturday’s.
And if you are enjoying my blog? I would love for you to hit forward in your email and send the post to a friend, so that you both can enjoy reading it over your cups of coffee!
So much of life is adjusting rhythms isn’t it?
I mean, if we are anything like my Willa pup here…
It takes some real effort to climb, snuggle and adjust into the cushions just so –
until you find that perfect, just for you fit.
That’s what I am learning with my growing Home Decor business and writing my blog posts…I am finding just the right cushion and course for us to all gain maximum value and enjoyment.
I am excited about this new writing rhythm and I am so thankful for this space to connect with you – thanks for being here friend.
Now then…if you are like me…
Then you also have not purchased Valentine’s Day gifts…yet.
Similar to my Christmas Gift Guide for girls that I shared in December, which you can see here. (Many of the Christmas suggestions would also make great gifts for Valentine’s day.)
I have rounded up a list of Valentine’s Day gifts for girls…because that is the gift giving category I feel most equipped and experienced with..
Because?
Well because of these little ladies right here.
These three Valentine’s of ours have given me plenty of gift giving experience in the category called:
“What is all things girls love.” (If we were playing Jeopardy) 🙂
Even better?
These Valentine Gift Ideas for girls are from my two favorite stores and they will arrive before Valentine’s Day!
Hello Target and Amazon.
Thank you for saving our last minute Momma necks.
Every.Single.Time.
Praise you God for Target and Amazon.
I am so excited to share this gift guide for pre teen and teen girls because many of these gift ideas, are items that we have already given to our daughters as gifts and they have proved to be BIG winners in their books.

Last Minute Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for Girls
Ok friend…let’s break the gift guide down with a few more details and pictures from personal experience etc.
- Pencil Case & School Supply Pouch – Eve received this pencil case from Santa and she LOVES it. She immediately organized her new pens and school supplies and loves the simple outer design.
2. Gel Pens – Eve loves these for school and uses them in the pencil case pictured above.
3. Stella & Dot Bracelets – These are actually on my Valentine Wish List. I will always be a S&D accessory lover.
4. White & Gold Jewelry Box from Target. This A new Day Jewelry box also comes in a smaller size with one drawer and in a natural color. Eve received this white, two drawer jewelry box as a Christmas gift and it has been the best organizer for her rings and all of the necklaces and bracelets she has been busy making with this jewelry kit and this jewelry making kit.
Plus, it serves as functional decor that looks pretty on her desk of her coastal theme bedroom.
You can find more product links to the bedroom decor and accessories here in this post.
5. Personalized Heart Ring – This sweet ring is $12 and is as cute as can be for a preteen girl.
I gave this ring to Maci for Valentine’s Day last year. In fact, according to my Amazon order history, I ordered it on February 11th and it still arrived in time to give to her on Valentine’s Day. My Maci girl is a ring lover and she LOVES this petite heart with her initial engraved on it.
6. Lilly Pulitzer Insulated Tumbler – For the Lilly lover in your life. (Our girls are not big into LP, but I know there are girls out there that love Lilly!) Added this item because a new water tumbler is always fun and somehow makes the drink inside taste better. 🙂
7. Pink & White Stripe Satin Pajama Set – Eve also received these silk satin pajamas for Christmas and if she could? She would live in them. Eve is 12 (turning 13 in March – I cannot believe we will actually have a teenager in the house but that is a post for another day) and I ordered her a size small.
8. Dearfoams Soft Faux Fur Slippers – Because when you have satin pajamas you want slippers that are just as soft.
9. Heart Shape Post It Notes – When you want to leave a little love note. Our Livvy girl LOVES her notes. She loves leaving notes on our pillows at night. She is a post it note queen and will think these are so fun.
10. Sour Patch Kid & Swedish Fish in Heart Shapes – Our girls are not huge chocolate fans. (I know – who are they?) BUT? The love their sugar fix – love that this comes as a set of 3.
11. Mini Round Earring Case – $10 and comes in a variety of colors. Our youngest, Livvy just had her ears pierced in the Fall and this is the perfect little case to store all of her new little stud earrings.
12. Peace Sign Floral Heart Print – 8×10 unframed print from Amazon. Perfect for room decor in a natural frame like this one here.
13. Crewneck Sweatshirt – Our girls live in the land where you wear a sweatshirt every day. This one looks so comfy and comes in a variety of colors.
14. Clear Toiletry Bag With Pink Zipper – I am excited to give these to the girls this year for Valentine’s Day and fill them with Sun Bum sunscreen and chapstick to help prepare them for packing for our trip to Sanibel in 15 days. (but whose counting!) 🙂
15. The Comfy – Honestly? Everyone needs a Comfy in their life. This was Maci’s #1 request last year for her Birthday. The kid has been known to wear this thing all day inside, out to the movies, in the car on the way to the sports fields when she doesn’t want to wake up for early morning games. And? I have even borrowed it out of the car to keep me warm while watching on the sidelines.
Is it too much to call the Comfy a lifesaver? I think not.
The Comfy is available in a variety of colors. Eve ordered the turquoise and we ordered both of the Comfy’s in the Adult sizes to allow for growing room. After all, if you are wearing a comfy, chances you are not really going for the fitted look…you are going for the comfy look. 🙂
16. Heart Shaped Trinket Dish – $6 Perfect for catching those small earrings or a landing spot for placing ear buds in the same place, so you don’t lose them.
17. Hair Crimper – I am not great at styling my own hair, and I am not great at styling our girls hair. In fact, Eve taught herself how to do amazing braids and all the things with her hair – no thanks to me. She actually bought herself this hair crimper last year with an Amazon gift card and loves using it for her hair and playing with her sisters hair. I think I may even have her try it out on my hair next.
18. Pre-Wrap Athletic Tape – As much as our girls love all things jewelry and hair tools? Deep down, they are athletes to their core. Eve is my pre wrap girl. She LOVES using pre wrap as a headband when she plays lacrosse and soccer. Somehow it keeps her long blonde hair out of her eyes the best and because she ties it herself under her pony tail, it is adjustable. Eve just picked out this set of pre wrap herself because she loves the variety of colors this set comes in.
19. Heart & Love Socks – $4 socks? Always. Give us all the fuzzy socks all the time.
20. Velvet Jewelry Organizer – My Mom gave all three of our girls these velvet jewelry organizers for a fun travel option to take their favorite earrings, necklaces and rings back and forth to the beach this Summer. Some of the colors are sold out so hurry!
21. Grab & Go Ponytail Holders – Contrary to Eve and her headbands? Maci is my pony tail girl.
As I was making this gift guide last night, these Grab & Go pony tail holders caught her eye, to which she commented “Oh Mom I NEED more of those!”
One can never have enough pony tail holders when you are my Maci or any other girl with a pony tail in her hair, every day of her life. 🙂
And last but not least?
You need this ribbon to put a bow on it!
This I love You ribbon, this gift bag and this set of gift bags are the cutest!!
Oh I almost forgot!
I DO have another Valentine that I love to shop for.
In case you thought I forgot about my man?
I did not.
I will tell you what I am giving Shawn for Valentine’s Day but you have to make 2 promises first.
- You can’t tell him. (let’s hope that he doesn’t read this blog post.)
- You can’t laugh at the gift I am giving him.
Promise?
Ok, I am ordering Shawn this Rapid Egg Cooker for Valentine’s Day.
Remember friend – you promised not to laugh!
You see my man loves his eggs.
And?
He has turned our girls into egg lovers as well. Often on Sunday nights, he will make hard boiled eggs for his breakfast for the next few days and to add to salads. You get the idea. So when, a HwH client of mine this past week whipped this gadget out from underneath her cabinet and raved about how EASY it is to use and how much she loves it?
I was sold.
I can’t wait to surprise Shawn with this new gadget.
I mean it doesn’t get any more romantic than that does it?
Knowing what makes your man smile – now that’s what I call true love.
I hope this gift guide for girls helps put the ease into your effort and helps you to shower your favorite girls with all the love they deserve this Valentine’s Day.
Sending you so much LOVE and thankfulness for you to you today.
Living on a prayer,
Heather
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

I have always liked giving practical and fun gifts. That’s why I often give funny panties and socks to my husband.
