It’s been a busy week around here friends!
On Monday, our home was taken over by a production company and film crew to shoot a commercial by a local film director! 😮

Saying YES when opportunity knocks!
The Commercial
On Monday, we loaned our home out and it was used to film a special project!
The cast & crew were beyond lovely & the entire experience was SO fun to observe!
The director first started filming in our garage of all places!
They loved using Shawn’s man-cave for their project!
Who would have ever thought, when we converted our garage into THIS man-cave it would become Shawn’s favorite “room” in the house and eventually be used to shoot a commercial!
You just never know what’s around the corner do we!?
We have a new driver!
Eve got her license!
Ok, this falls under the “life lately” category and I am sure will slide into the “loving lately” list…
Eventually.
Because all the people, tell me all the time how helpful it is once your teen children get their license and start to drive.
However, I am still in the phase of…
This changes everything.
And?
I already miss her.
And?
There’s the whole…worry thing.
Because, that’s what Mom’s do.
So for now, if you need me – you can find me praying without ceasing for our new driver. 🙂
New Spring Arrivals
Artificial olive tree
I have been doing a ton of personal shopping this past week for my Home with Heather clients and I was so excited to see this new olive tree design actually in the store to be able to check it out in person!
I love this new asymmetrical design of this original artificial olive tree design HERE because I love how the new version has greenery and leaves that start lower on the trunk, providing texture lower.
It works perfectly for those corners of your home that need just a little organic movement and soft shape without adding more furniture.
I delivered the tree to a client’s home this past week, where we are in the midst of working on a new sitting room space!
I also selected, bought and delivered the new media console table and decor.
Which leads me to the next thing I’m loving lately….

For this client, I suggested we move their living room coffee table and try it as their family room coffee table.
We swapped coffee tables and then I headed out to shop locally for new shelf and table decor, throw pillows, baskets and entry way decor and 6 hours later…
They had a refreshed family room and entryway!
Plus a new media console table, faux tree and decor, as well as paint color suggestions for the sitting room project we are working together on!
What I’m finding is that clients love having me just DO IT FOR THEM.

When I shared this before Christmas, it seems that everyone loved it and added it to their Target carts!
I am sharing it again, because not only was it my Christmas break uniform…
But now?
I am LIVING in it.
I’ve also been wearing the funnel neck sweatshirt alone and dressing it up by wearing it with trousers and flats. The turtleneck style is keeping me WARM and cozy!!!!

New Furniture Layout
first floor furniture re-arrangement
Last week I shared all about how we rearranged our entire first floor layout after we took down Christmas. You can see all of the rooms, before and after pics HERE in this post: “How To Refresh Your Home & Heart For The New Year.”
And, this new furniture layout has been SO energizing for our family! It’s definitely one of the things I am loving right now!
For starters…I am LOVING using our dining table as my new desk!
The extra table surface is working out so well!
And, when I am still working and the girls come home from school, they plop down with a snack and nibble while sitting across from me to chat! It’s the best!
And also?
Everyone is in love with the new living room layout!
we love having the sectional sofa in here again and the swivel chairs are always everyone’s first choice for a quick plop!
The living room just feels COZY and inviting…and we are here for all of it!
