Pale legs are one thing.
But a pale face is not something I really love to show off.
Recently, I began mixing a trio of creams together and I LOVE the way it gives my face a dewy, moisturized glow!
The Lumi Glotion is the newest addition to my daily routine and I have to say I really LOVE the way it just brightens my face!
Painted Interior Garage Door!
Our interior garage door got a glow up!!
Below is a “BEFORE” picture of the interior garage door.
You can see that the door handle was starting to fail…which is what inspired this quick yet impactful update!
Here is the AFTER!

In LOVE with how it looks now with the door, door trim and wall all the same color!
You might remember a few years ago, when I painted our coat closet in the hallway, the same color as the wall and trim in order to “quiet the door down” in the hallway, make it blend with the wall and not make it stand out.
You can see how I painted the coat closet door transformation HERE in this post.
I also painted Maci’s pair of closet doors HERE in her teen girl bedroom makeover post, to do the opposite effect and make the doors stand out in a fun way.
What I have found is that sometimes, doors just don’t need to stand out and sometimes they do!
In our case, we have two side by side doors off the kitchen and I wanted the garage door to “disappear” as much as possible.
Below is another “After” picture!
The door on the left is the door that leads to the basement, where we just gave the basement stairwell a “glow up” and hung the bead board panels and a new gallery wall, HERE in this post.
The door on the right leads to the garage, AKA – Shawn’s garage “Man-Cave.”
I decided that while Shawn took off the handle to replace the garage door handle with this new gold entry door handle, (also LOVE) that we should seize the moment and paint the inside of the door while the handle was off!
In case you’re wondering – it’s not hard to paint an interior door!
Many times, you do not even need to take the door off of the hinges.
In our case, we (and by we, I mean – Shawn 🙂 Shawn was only painting the inside of the garage door.
The other side, we kept black from when we painted it HERE for his Garage Man-Cave makeover.
And now?
Now, this garage door is “quieter” and allows the cozy gallery wall, right next to it – to take center stage as the focal point!

I am so in love with this small but might little room transformation!
I just love how the garage door and trim now blends with the wall!
The door isn’t distracting any longer and doesn’t demand unnecessary attention, so that the gallery wall can rise to the focal point of interest!

Extra Long Shower Curtain & Gold Rod

Fun Fact:
Did you know that most every single shower curtain at Target, Home Sense etc are all the standard 72″ in length?
Recently, I ordered this extra long waffle shower curtain in 84″ length from Amazon and it’s a total game changer!
While I don’t have fabulous pictures at the moment, other than the one above.
You are just going to have to take my word for it!
Move your shower curtain rod HIGHER up on the wall and get a LONGER shower curtain!!
It’s a total game changer and you are going to LOVE IT!
We also moved the girls shower curtain rod up and ordered them this extra long shower curtain and they all said that their shower now feels BIGGER than before!
Simply because we moved the curtain rod up and hung longer shower curtains up!
Total game changer – looks better and the bathroom and shower all feel bigger!

Last but not least?
Waving goodbye to Livvy Love Bug on the Bus every morning.
With each passing school day morning…the fact that my “bus stop days” are winding down, seems to hit a little harder.
I’ve been waving goodbye to this yellow school bus driven by Ms. Barbara, our beloved bus driver, for the last 11 years. Ms. Barbara has been driving all of our girls to school, since their first days of Kindergarten.
And now, with the hint of Spring in the air…it’s reminding me that these bus stop days…
Well friend, they don’t last forever.
And that’s O.K.
But it’s worth noticing and naming right now…
That I won’t be standing on this sidewalk this time next year waving goodbye, for the first time in 12 years.
I will have more words to say on this topic soon…as Livvy is graduating from elementary school in June.
But for now?
I am LOVING and savoring waving goodbye and blowing kisses to my L.L.B. (Livvy Love Bug is my name for her) and seeing her sweet hand match mine to wave back, from the back of the bus.
Oh and I almost forgot!
I am LOVING that Livvy and I finished our Winter puzzle of our favorite vacation destination…
Just in time for the bunnies to come out and play! 🙂
