Popping in today with two special Easter tradition ideas and a way to help you hit the easy button with getting those Easter Baskets filled for the teen and pre-teen girls in your life!
Because?
That’s my life right now.
Living in a world where you have to hide your favorite socks, telescopic mascara and expensive shampoo.
All because?
Teen girls.
Eve will celebrate her 15th birthday the day before Easter, on March 30th. (I can’t even...but that’s a post for another day.)
We have a fun little outing planned with friends for her birthday, that we can’t wait to surprise her with.
Maci is now 12 and Livvy is 10.
But, let’s face it, Livvy has been getting an early education on all things teen girl for a few years now!
Here’s a fun throw back pic to three years ago, after baking our lamb cake, a special Easter tradition that I love.
All that to say?
My area of expertise happens to be…knowing what Teen and Tween girls are into and fun things you can do to create lasting memories with them!
Today on the blog I am sharing exactly what is going into our 3 girl’s Easter Baskets from their 3 favorite stores:
Target.
Ulta.
Amazon. (of course.)
As well as the fun traditions we like to enjoy doing around this time of year, like decoupaging Easter eggs with cocktail napkins and baking the Easter Lamb cake.
This year, in the girls Easter baskets, I am adding two of these artificial tulips, that I shared HERE in this post, “What I’m Loving Right Now” and placing them in the back of their Easter baskets.
Because?
I love making their Easter baskets look pretty, while also filling them with gifts that I know they will actually use and need this Spring.
Things like, a fresh pair of flip flops, a new swim suit, pretty journals, devotionals and highlighters, beauty products they love and more.
So, if you are looking for easy ideas to fill those Easter Baskets for the girls in your life…along with a few special ideas to create Easter traditions… this post is for you.
With 3 girls ranging in ages from 10-15 years old…I have you covered with the things they love and things you will love to do with them in these weeks leading up to Easter.

The Ultimate Easter Basket Gift Ideas For Teen & Tween Girls
First things first.
Let’s quickly talk about those meaningful traditions we love to enjoy at Easter.
Below is a picture from two years ago, after making our Easter lamb cake and decoupaging Easter eggs.
Last year, we baked our lamb cake and decided that we preferred a softer decorative look, over the jelly bean eyes and nose. 🙂
You can get all the details on HOW to decoupage Easter eggs and how to bake a lamb cake for Easter HERE in this post.
I have to tell you that I LOVE pulling out these decoupaged Easter eggs every year and finding new ways to display them as Easter decor!
I highly recommend you give this easy craft a try!
And now?
Now let’s hop to those Easter basket gift ideas for girls!
See what I did there? 🙂
For these Easter basket filler ideas you are going to hippity hop over to Target, Amazon and Ulta for all the things teen girls love, or order online with the links and pictures below!
All of the Easter gift ideas I am sharing with you are linked under each of the picture collages by store and also again at the bottom of this post for easy online shopping!
I usually start by filling our girl’s Easter baskets with some type of Spring article of clothing, such as flip flops, a new comfy pair of Spring shorts, bright sports bra or new swim suit and then I add in a journal, Bible along with the smaller items and add the candy items in last.
Before I begin adding everything to the Easter baskets, I like to lay everything out to see what I have collected and how I want to divvy it up.
Let’s start with the goodies I love from Target.
Below are the Easter basket fillers from Target that I have for Livvy, who is 10 years old.

But of course we know…that the Easter Basket goodies aren’t the real reason to be delighted on Easter morning.
If you’re looking for an easy way to talk to the younger children in your life about the meaning of Easter, you may find this blog post that I wrote two years ago, to be helpful in teaching them about the meaning of Easter.
Living on a prayer,
Heather
