Looking for Valentine’s Day gift basket ideas for girls? Here are the cutest gift ideas and Valentine’s day sweaters and jewelry to wear now.
This quick post is coming to you from the mountains in Western Maryland!
Our family is hitting the pause button on all the things right now to enjoy a quick family ski trip with some of our best friends.
Before we hit the road, I popped on my Instagram stories to share the Valentine’s Day gift baskets that I am putting together for our 3 daughters!
On these cold January days that can sometimes look and feel dreary, I find that it’s helpful for my own mood to put energy into creating a little something special for someone else.
How about you?
Do ever find that the best way to boost your mood is to get busy surprising someone else with a little special something?
Today on the blog, I am sharing a round up of small Valentine’s day goodies that would be perfect to create your own gift basket of goodies for a pre-teen or teen girl in your life.
Plus, I recently popped into the LOFT and found the cutest pink ruffle sweater to wear right now!

Turns out, the LOFT has the cutest Valentine inspired sweaters and jewelry…most of which is on sale right now!
My pink ruffle sweater is $18!

During this time of year, I like to collect small items that are pink or have hearts that would be great additions for helping to make small Valentine’s Day Gift baskets for Eve, Maci and Livvy.
Our girls really get into every holiday (I have no idea where they get that from, 😉
So, I like to make the day extra special by gifting them with a little basket that is filled with practical items they will use and of course fun items that can be used as holiday decor in their rooms.
Once I have a variety of gift items I start to add them into a small basket that I usually find in the clearance section of Target.
(I am linking all of the items I have gathered here at the very end of this post for easy online shopping, along with additional gift ideas and similar items for the gifts that are no longer available.)
The Target Dollar Spot is a great place to start when you want to begin collecting Valentine themed gifts and decor.
I picked up these adorable mini flag pennants at our local Target Dollar Spot.
This pink and red storage basket from Walmart would be a super cute container to use for your Valentine goodie basket.
Here is a pink rope basket from Target that would be great to use.
Once I have my gift basket, I fill the bottom with thick paper or bubble wrap from Amazon packages we have received to create a nice boost for all the goodies to sit on top of.
Then, I layer valentine tissue paper on top of the bubble wrap and it’s time to add all the small gifts to the baskets!
Next, it’s time to start filling the basket with all the gift goodies!
Here are the three Valentine’s Day gift baskets I have put together for our girls!
I am also a BIG fan of the Dollar Tree for buying my cards!!
Cards can be so overpriced and often wind up in the trash, but I still love to give them to my special people!
Now, for those cute Valentine’s Day Sweaters and Jewelry from the LOFT!
I just love the pink ruffle sweater and love that it’s not toooooo Valentinesy (is that a word?)
Because, I can keep wearing it well after Valentine’s Day.
After all…pink is my favorite color!!
I also bought these super cute reversible mother of pearl heart huggie earrings for Eve which she already has so she can enjoy them now. 🙂
There you go friend!
