Looking for new and affordable fashion finds for Spring? Here are my favorites from Target right now & how I’m wearing them, purses, tees, sandals & more.
Happy February!!
Now that our our annual ski trip to Western Maryland with our best friends has come and gone, this girl is ready for Summer! Ha! 🙂
Anyone else?!
Even though I am a Summer salt air girl at heart…I DO look forward to and LOVE our family ski trip with our best friends, every Winter!
Here is a group photo of our entire crew, after the first day on the slopes!
Here’s a fun fact about this little group of families…
These three families have been knit together as “framily” from 3 friendships that first began between myself, Jen and Chris after meeting each other in the 4th grade! I will always be grateful for Mrs. Nelson’s 1990 school year seating chart!
Yes, Jen, Chris and I all grew up together. And now one of my most treasured times is when all three of our families are together! Whether we’re on the ski slopes or on the sand at 75th street, it doesn’t matter, fun and laughter are never far behind!
Below is a little treasure from the archive that is my teen girl photo album!
This is a picture of Jen and I on our first ski trip together with our Mom’s from 1994, when I was first learning how to ski! My sweet Dad took the photo with his Nikon!
And here is a picture of us from last weekend at WISP!

After returning home from our ski trip, my work week kicked off with a super fun experience!
You may have caught some of the behind the scenes from a fun television appearance, if you hang out with me on Instagram stories or Facebook.
My amazingly talented friend, Julie is an image consultant and fashion stylist based out of New York.
So, when she texted me last month and asked if I would be willing to be her “model” for a FOX5DC television segment, that was kicking off her media tour, of course I said YES!!
Denim Jeans // Ribbed Top in Watermelon From Amazon
We had SO much fun getting styled by Julie, and I learned a ton from her style wisdom!
You can catch the full segment of “Fashion In’s and Out’s in 2024” HERE as long as you promise not to make too much fun of my model walk! 🙂
Now, I have to tell you after spending an entire day with my talented stylist friend, I was inspired to not only purge my closet and yes, follow her advice and donate all my skinny jeans! 🙂
I was also inspired to purchase a few new pieces of clothing that caught my eye at Target, to help refresh my wardrobe for Spring!
Today on the blog, I am sharing my new and affordable fashion finds for Spring from Target and how I styled them.
I am super excited because these new Target fashion finds all work well with my new denim jeans I bought last week on sale at LOFT. You can see my new LOFT items, including the prettiest pink ruffle sleeve sweater, in last week’s post HERE.
Let’s just say that after the sun peeked out from behind the clouds earlier this week for just a day, your girl here is READY for Spring and sunshine! And now, thanks to grabbing a coffee and a cart at Target, my wardrobe is ready too!
Want to see the adorable new shoes, purses and tops that I picked up from Target?

Styling My Oversized Striped Button-Down for Spring
There is just something so timeless about a blue and white striped long sleeve collared button-down shirt!
Love the oversize fit of this classic striped collared button down, available in the prettiest green stripe and more colors!
Can’t wait to wear this button down in the Summer with shorts or as a beach cover up over my swim suit!
I had to dig out some very old cut off jean shorts 😂 but you get the idea!
Styled another way with a body suit!
I bought this cotton stretch tank bodysuit last year from Target and it has been a staple ever since!
And now that I am in shorts in February…let’s just go with it!

This matching shirt and shorts set is so comfy, can easily be worn as separates and comes in so many pretty stripe patterns and solids!
Last but not least!
Here is a new favorite puff sleeve super soft cream sweater that I picked up from LOFT, when I found my new favorite jeans.
