If you have been following along this DIY powder room remodel…then you already know it took me a little while to find the perfect wallpaper.

First, I shared my original mood board concept design for our powder room remodel, along with my secret step to planning any home renovation project, HERE in this post.

And then?

And then, life got busy and I stalled in finding the right wallpaper for our coastal powder room refresh.

Until?

Until I found the perfect powder room wallpaper and shared all of the details a few weeks ago, HERE in this post.

And now?

Now, this coastal powder room is complete.

Cooked, finished, donesies, finalized and ready for her big debut.

What do you think of this coastal inspired powder room?

Here is another fun before & after comparison.

For starters…I am in love with this art deco mirror.

I knew I wanted something just a little bit extra and different from the typical thin frame, simple metal style frame mirror, that is beautiful in powder rooms…yet expected.

I found this antique gold mirror on Wayfair and ordered it during their “Way Day” sale. 🙂

However, you can find the exact same style at Anthropologie in both gold, silver and black metal finishes HERE.

Shawn cut into the top trim piece of the shiplap, in order to hang the mirror and I am so happy with the way it turned out – hence the happy smile in the picture above! 🙂

This woven waste basket from Target.

And this thin, white diamond pattern bathroom rug, also from Target.

I love our new herringbone tile floor so much, I didn’t want co create any distraction or eye clutter on the floor to take away from the new tile.

This simple, white bath mat is just right.

Wall Art!

After I had selected the antique gold mirror, I knew I wanted to repeat the natural wood color and tone of the vanity by sprinkling that coastal touch in other areas of the powder room.

In order to accomplish this, I added one more splash of the wood tone in another area, by selecting this thin gallery frame from Target and added a coastal art print to it.

I found this “Aerial Ocean” view watercolor art print by Lindsay Letters and decided that it would be the perfect way to bring the blue and white from the wallpaper, down and incorporate the color above, by layering onto the vertical shiplap with art.

Last but not least?

After hanging the gorgeous coastal wallpaper, I knew that I wanted wall decor that would straddle both the vertical shiplap and the wallpaper, offering a cohesive compliment, without taking away from the design.

I found my solution to the powder room wall art, when I found this set of three wall planters from Wayfair.

This set of iron wall plant holders are available in both gold and black.

My lovely Mom who has a knack for floral arranging, helped me to decorate these wall planters using all beautiful faux greenery and moss from Michael’s.

There is a small awkward space to the left of the bathroom vanity, that has always been tricky to figure out.

Thankfully, the home decor stores are bursting with all the tiny tables and small side tables right now.

I found this three legged table at out local HomeSense store and knew I had the perfect pretty home for her, in the form of our new powder room. 🙂

She is “just enough” for this small space and right now my peonies are blooming, making this small accent table…even prettier.

PS – I also have fallen in love with AIR PLANTS!

This little air plant, on the side table is REAL!

I keep a small spray water bottle inside the vanity and give her a little mist every other day. 🙂

I keep moving the air plant from the vanity, to the side table, to the top of the toilet.

Air plants are a great way to decorate and add that bit of texture and greenery to a room, with little maintenance!
