Looking for a little pick me up? Be inspired with these mood boosting ideas, fresh home decor finds, and encouragement for right now.
I hope this message finds you replaying fond memories made during your Easter celebrations over the weekend, with your loved ones.
We have been soaking in the joy and smiles that were shared and exchanged before, during and after our three daughter’s baptism during our church service on Easter Sunday.
You can read more about how they came to faith and made their individual and decision about baptism, HERE in this post.
Which brings me to?
This post.
What I am Loving Right Now Vol. 3.
You may recall the very first time I shared a post like this last Summer, you can catch it HERE.
Or more recently, when I shared “What I am Loving Right Now” Vol.2, HERE in this post from just a couple months ago.
I enjoy sharing these light bite posts from time to time, when I am feeling led to share a little of what is catching my eye, lifting my spirit, and sometimes guiding and encouraging my heart right now.
So, are you ready to know what it is that I am loving right now…in this moment?
My hope is that these tiny shares will lift you too and inspire you in your day to day as we walk this road out together.
Let’s go together.
No surprise here…
at the top of the “What I am Loving Right Now” list?
1. I am loving THIS VIDEO.
I can’t tell you how many times I have watched this video of our daughter’s individual baptisms.
These moments of their decisions to place Jesus as their core foundation for walking out their futures makes my eyes leak every time I watch it.
So, yes this is at the top of my list for what I am loving right now. I am overwhelmed by emotion not only because of their personal faith choices but also so thankful to God for gifting us with these healthy daughters and entrusting Shawn and I to love and care for them.
To be their mother is such a blessing and a privilege.
Next up on things I am loving right now?
2. I am loving decorating with Sun Palms.
I picked up the larger sun palms at my favorite store, Cocalico Creek. You might remember I shared my love for this store back in “What I am loving right now” Vol 1, here in this post.
There are so many beautiful and affordable finds at Cocalico Creek. If you are local, you can visit their shop in Lancaster, Pennsylvania or you can shop a small curated selection of their home accents here online.
While, these beautiful large sun palms are not available in their online shop. I did find very similar looking sun palms on Amazon.
I have loved playing with these palm stems, moving them from a clear vase to a woven basket.
These sun palms are currently showing off in our entryway, on our console table.
I also am loving the smaller version of sun palms, which I am sprinkling all over our home in small, vintage glass bottles.
Linking the smaller sun palms HERE, also from Amazon.
Have I told you that we are coming down the home stretch of the powder room remodel?
The hang up that was holding me up?
Wallpaper.
I was having trouble finding wallpaper that I loved.
Until?
Until, I found Jennifer Latimer designs.
3. I am loving THIS ARTIST and Her Designs.
You can check out Jennifer Latimer’s art, wallpaper, bedding, paints and prints all HERE.
And in spoiler alert news?
The wallpaper, going up in the powder room is NOT the wallpaper I had originally considered here in this mood board.
Any guesses to which wallpaper I picked out for the powder room makeover?
Stay tuned very soon to find out!
What does all this exciting wallpaper decision news mean?
It means, I have also been doing some online shopping for the finishing touch accessories and decor for our powder room…
4. I am loving these frames from Target.
I can’t wait to try this beaded antique brass frame and this smaller sized, matching frame on the shiplap walls in the powder room.
Also?
I have been sliding things like this circle hand towel holder and this toilet paper holder, both from Amazon into my shopping cart to finish off the powder room accessories.
Did you know?
These favorites and many more of my home decor finds from Amazon are always linked HERE on my website for easy click shopping.

Guess what happened as I was hopping in between my two favorite online places to shop, Amazon and Target?
I fell in love with the new Spring Collection by Studio McGee.
5. I am loving the new Spring Collection by Studio Mcgee at Target.
It is no surprise that I favor the Studio Mcgee line at Target.
As many of my Home with Heather clients know, much like Shea, I gravitate to a neutral and white color palette in home decor.
I can’t wait to actually be able to shop the new goodies she has coming out this Sunday in Target.
I have rounded up my new favorites that have caught my eye, and some that I hope to add to our home in the near future, like this sand dune framed wall art.
Below, you can see a mood board of my favorites and as you scroll down, you can click on the image of the item to see it online and “coming soon.”
If you see an item you love?
I would be sure to be near your computer on launch day!!
The most popular Studio McGee items tend to sell out quickly!
6. I am loving my re-arranged furniture.
It’s no secret.
I love to rearrange the furniture in our home.
I have shared my love for swapping spots of our furniture placement HERE, HERE and HERE in the past.
I am a serial furniture swapper.
Why?
Because it is fastest and most cost effective way to refresh your home. And what I mean by “most cost effective” is that it is the best way to re-decorate your home FOR FREE.
I love re-thinking new ways to use and place furniture.
And?
I am loving this cottage styled console table moved into it’s new place, in my home office.
If you have been around here for awhile, then you will remember that we used this wall as a landing place last year for me to teach home school to Maci and Livvy.
Which inspired me to make this book wall.
You can see the steps of how I made the book wall, HERE in this post and a video of us putting the book wall together, HERE on my instagram highlight.
Now, that the girls do not need the stools and desk space here any longer?
I decided to swap this gold console table with the cottage styled console table from the adjoining living room and move the stools into the center of the room.
And now?
Now, the gold console table that Maci and Livvy used as a desk last year during home school…
Is our new TV console table.
I also moved the linen and gold finished bench that used to be upstairs, at the bottom of our bed and slid it under the gold console table.
It was a perfect fit and is so helpful to pull out and offer more quick seating to guests.
Such an easy, successful and satisfying furniture swap!
Friend, I hope these small bites of inspiration help to keep your inspiration energy levels and hearts lifted up.
Because one thing I know?
Looking UP is the only way through this unpredictable life journey that we are fortunate enough to walk out in forward paced faith together.
I will leave you with this last bit of what I am loving right now.
And friend?
It is not just what I am loving right now…
It is what I am NEEDING right now.
7. I am loving this scripture verse.
God blesses those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
“God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”
matthew 5:4 NLT
I don’t know if you are in a season of grief or mourning.
Sadly, we are.
While it is fresh, this scripture is one that I am loving, needing and clinging close to right now…perhaps you need it to.
We can never be reminded enough of the closeness of our God.
Especially, when mourning the loss of a dear and loved one.
Friend, will you keep my sweet Dad in your prayers?
We believe in the power of prayer and he needs them.
With deep love and thanks for this special community.
Keep looking up.
Living on a prayer,
Heather
God,
Thank You that You are close.
Thank You that You remind us of Your closeness.
Draw us close, hem us in, we need You and love You.
Amen.
